ACTION HEROES!

I was really surprised about the news that Bruce Willis will not be on the next sequel of The Expendables.  Not  that I'm not in favor of Harrison Ford replacing him.  Harrison Ford is one of my favorite versatile actors.  He can do action, drama and even comedy.  Well, I think there are some problems between Sly Stallone and Bruce Willis and it is not our concern either.  I'm just thinking that Sly's going to the internet and rant about it is not fair to Bruce.

In fairness to Bruce.  I think he has already had a very successful career.

Anyway, I just remember my daughter Jen calling me Bruce Willis, hehe.  She told me that I look like Bruce.  That was when she saw me for the first time after 15 years.  Well, I can't blame her.  It's probably the thinning hair.  I am not at all like Bruce.  With my Asian looks, I'm not even close to Bruce Lee, hehe.

But If you think deeper, it's not what people see.  It's what they think, they feel, or what they want.  My daughters didn't have the benefit of a father figure.  They were young when I left them.  Jen, being the eldest, was only 10 years old the last time I saw her.

Jen saw Bruce in me.  Not the physical Bruce Willis, but the character Bruce always portrays in his action movies.  Somehow Jen is still hoping that the character will save them at the end of the story. What she saw in me is that I am her hero.

Jen is getting married on November 30.  She is hoping that 'Bruce' will be there to escort her to the altar. . . .    I will be there.

Yes I am a Christian . . . not that one, the other one!

What does it mean to be a Christian? Were you born a Christian or a ‘Born Again’ Christian? Have you realized that Christianity is like a vi...
